EXTRA CURRICULAR/ AFFILIATIONS

EXTRA CURRICULAR

We believe that the Extra-Curricular Activity programme, combined with our representative sports programme, plays an important role in the development of children, both in a pastoral and academic sense.

The aims and objectives of the programme are:

  • To enable children in Key Stages 2,3 and 4 to appreciate and enjoy a variety of extra-curricular activities
  • to enhance and complement the formal curricular education of children by providing stimulating activities and widening their learning experiences
  • To create the opportunity for children to develop their potential in a specific interest or range of interests
  • To enable children to develop a sense of responsibility and reliability
  • To develop social awareness and well balanced senses of cooperation and competition

Teachers are encouraged to share their wider interests with the children and, as a result, we are able to offer an interesting range of activities, some of which are listed below:

  • Art
  • Drama Studies
  • Reading/Audio Book Club
  • Badminton
  • Field Hockey
